This site was created by Kate Franzman as a Christmas gift for her father, Terry Franzman. Bunny and Elmer were his parents, whose romance began when they were teens. Bunny was engaged to someone else when they met, while Elmer was shipped off for the war. They saved every letter of their correspondence– through courtship, marriage, three children, and many anniversaries.
